Our client is in search of an exciting intern for the internship opportunity, within their Professional Supply Chain segment, for 8 weeks based in Crawley between London and Brighton. This role is for you to make an impact on people’s lives with lights as they say “Everything starts with light. Light moves cities, carries information and comforts mind and body”. This internship is an ongoing process that is coordinated with other fellow students.
As a Supply Chain Intern, you will have to coordinate with other fellow students in order to:
· Provide business support to the various functions within the specific department (logistic, demand planning, customer order desk)
· Prepare weekly, bi-weekly stock reports for key accounts
· To raise and process purchase orders for shipment and communicate information to all relevant parties
· Gain knowledge at a fast pace on how the supply chain function operates, within a fast-paced lighting technology company
· Get to measure the impact of your talent and energy in the realization of an ambitious business project
· Monitor stock levels, trends & ensure that risk of obsolescence & failure of service towards customers is minimized within targets outlined

· Solid IT skills including Microsoft Office, in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
· Technically-minded
· Fast learner and reliable
· Passion for enhancing their own business and commercial knowledge and skills
· Good communication and negotiation skills
· Ability to use numbers for various calculations and pricing
· Proactive approach
· Able to stay calm in a challenging environment
· Focused on winning business
· Between the age of 16 plus
· Satisfactory GCSE attainment/ equivalent (English and Maths included)
